Web Service Data Source

The CData Virtuality Platform supports multiple types of data sources. It also allows the user to connect to generic web services. In order to set up a web service connection, following parameters are needed:

• Alias: name of the data source to be used in CData Virtuality Server
• Endpoint: web service URL relative to which requests will be performed
• Security: the type of the authorization used by the web service. Supported types are: Basic HTTP, WSSecurity, Google OAuth 2.0 and none.
• Request timeout: request timeout in milliseconds
• Data source parameters: additional connection parameters
• Translator parameters: additional translator parameters
